Elon Musk Teases Possibility of Direct Streaming of PS5 Games on X Platform: Find Out More
PlayStation 5 gamers may soon be able to stream games directly to X (formerly Twitter), possibly through an official app, as a recent conversation between Elon Musk and a user suggests.
For X, user @AlexJonesMW3, responding to Elon Musk’s Diablo gameplay video, asked if X could launch a standalone streaming app for PS5. “I’m happy to pay whatever price I have to pay to be able to stream directly from my PS5 to @X,” the user said. He also asked Musk if he could contact someone at PlayStation.

This suggests that X could be working to bring native support for PS5 game streaming. However, it should be noted that earlier this year, Sony dropped support for users to share their games and photos directly on the X. “Starting November 13, 2023, X (formerly Twitter) integration will no longer work on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles,” Sony said in November.
